I covered the Detroit Red Wings -- my favorite hockey team in the world -- for three seasons, starting with the ugliest season I've ever seen and ending with a light at the end of the tunnel. I was lucky enough to work for two publications -- Last Word on Sports and Winging it in Motown. From prospect profiles to game-day coverage, I was on the front lines of every game, every night.
