Detroit Red Wings | Octopus Thrower
I have a confession to make: I live a double life.
By day, I'm a copywriter. But, when my shift ends at the copywriting store, I put on a new hat and become Jake Rivard: Hockey Journalist.
I am the sole editor of Octopus Thrower, the FanSided affiliate for the Detroit Red Wings. Since my first day in March, I've made it my goal to prioritize quality over clickbait, pushing out stories that matter while never compromising on growth.
The results have been staggering:

My philosophy of quality over clickbait helped the site to skyrocket to its highest viewership in history.
